The pump connecting cable may only be replaced by an electrical specialist.

8. Winter care

Take the pump out of the water during winter.

If required, clean the pump thoroughly (chap. 7).

Store the pump in a frost-free location in a container with water. This will
prevent hard sludge deposits and the gaskets will remain intact.

Never submerge the power plug!

Before placing the pump in service again: Check all parts and particularly the
lines for damages.
For simple handling you can always leave the garden hose connected to the
pump. Connect the garden hose to a water cock as needed. Thus you can leave
the pump in the pond and continue pump operation during the cleaning process.

Dismantling
:
1. Unplug power plug.
2. Unscrew the hose adapter from the pump filter.
3. Press the lock and open up the pump filter.
4. Remove pump and unscrew pump housing.
Clean all individual parts with a soft brush under running water.
Inspect the gasket ring for damage and brittleness. Replace it if required.
Attention! Never open the motor housing yourself!
If the rotor must be replaced, or if the motor is defective, then consult your dealer
or an electrician.
Assembly
:
1. Screw the pump housing onto the motor housing.
2. Re-insert the pump in the provided apertures in the pump filter.
3. Close the pump filter. The lock will snap shut.
4. Screw on the hose adapter.
