Setting the Input and Output Ports
19.1
Input allocation for Port IN and the optional port 1 for the wind speed channel m/s
Use the four system keys
to get from the main level to the sub-menu item
3.Port IN
. As an option,
digital input 1 can be used to connect an OASE anemometer (No. 53913) or as another configurable gate
input like all other inputs. The input voltage range for digital inputs is between min. -5V and 30V DC
(Low=5V..5V, High= 11V..30V). Two actions can be stored for each input. The first of these actions is
started as soon as the input switches from Low to High status (
CMD IN Raise
). The second action is
started once the status changes from High to Low (
CMD IN Release
). In addition to the actions, message
texts for the LCD display can be saved. The inputs can be configured by means of the WEPS software.
The sub-menu item
3.Port IN
. can be used to display the allocation of the inputs.
The following activities can be configured with the WEPS software
:
Activity: Description:
StartShow
Starts a WDS-file. If the scheduler has already started a shoe, it
will be discontinued. Furthermore, the scheduler will restart an
'unending' show.
StopShow
An ongoing show stops. All DMX-values are set to 0. The status
of the digital outputs remain unchanged.
SetFader
A fader (grandmaster or submaster) is set to a defined value.
StopAll
An ongoing show stops. All DMX-values are set to 0. All digital
outputs are set OFF. The scheduler is stopped.
Please see also chapter 12.
19.2
Output allocation Port Out
Use the four system keys
to get from the main level to sub-menu item
4.Port Out
. For testing
purposes, the digital outputs can be set by means of the
Toggle Out
functions of the respective output
channels. The manual setting of the
Toggle Out
function is given priority over access by the WEPS
software. A maximum of 1 ampere output at 24V DC can be applied to each output. The WEPS software
can be used to program the outputs within one show. The sub-menu item
3.Port Out
. can be used to
display the allocation of the outputs. Please read also chapter 13.
If the unit is restarted the previously active outputs are no longer active.
19.3
Allocation of output channel to DMX channel
Use the four system keys
to get from the main level to the sub-menu item
8.Setup
. Then proceed
to the sub-level menu item
Digital Outputs
. Use the function
DO 1…8 Patch
to allocate the desired
output to a DMX channel, if necessary. Example:
DO 1 Patch ,U128.A001
.
Do not use the unit to control safety-relevant assembly components.
