SECTION 4: 

LAMP INSTALLATION AND CLEANING 

 
The EQUIPMENT consists of a single housing containing components of the 
SOLAR SIMULATOR. 

 

4.1  INSTALL OR CHANGE THE LAMP  
 

WARNING! 

 

 

 

   

 

Again, be sure to wear face protection, safety goggles, and gloves when handling lamps. 
And this is the large upper door of the lamp housing we will mention in step 3).

If the lamp has been operating, turn it off and allow the housing 
to cool for 20 minutes before proceeding 

 

 

Always turn off the main power to the system via the circuit 
breaker at the rear of the SOLAR SIMULATOR and unplug the 
main power cord from the wall before changing a lamp
