Using the Digital Zoom
Using digital zoom, images appear closer. Whereas digital zoom is a compelling feature, the more an image is enlarged
(zoomed), the more pixilated (grainier) the image will appear.
Set the mode dial to the or the mode.
Turn on the LCD monitor by pressing the
DISP
button.
To enable the digital zoom:
a.
Press the
MENU
button.
b.
Press the or button to select
DIGITAL ZOOM
, and press the button.
c.
Press the or button again to select
ON
, and press the
ENTER
button.
d.
Press the
MENU
button.
e.
To activate the digital zoom, press the zoom key(on the
T
button) completely and hold it until the image on the
LCD monitor expands.
Press the shutter button to capture a “zoomed” image.
Note:
*The digital zoom photography is cancelled by pressing the
DISP
button to turn the LCD monitor off. On the
LCD monitor display off status, the digital zoom photography is not possible as well.
* The digital zoom photography is not possible in the 16-frame multi mode.
* The zoom setting is automatically cancelled by either turning the camera off or the activation of the Auto
Power Off function.
