Error codes / common problems
The welder 00E8500 has a number of safety systems to monitor welding and welding
parameter entry. Error codes are always displayed on the screen. To delete a displayed
error code, disconnect the fitting and press ESCAPE

AMBIENT
TEMPERATURE
OFF LIMITS
Ambient temperature is either lower than
-10°C or higher than 45°C.
Check that the temperature reading on
the welding unit screen is consistent
with the actual room temperature.
Prevent direct exposure to sunlight. If
the room temperature read by the
welding unit is not correct, contact our
Customer Service Representative staff.

SHORT CIRCUIT/
OVERLOAD
Current has exceeded limit
(partial fitting short-circuit or fitting made
by other manufacturers).
Replace fitting.

OPEN CIRCUIT
Fitting might be faulty or welding cables
not correctly connected to the fitting.
Check connection to the fitting.
Check connectors efficiency.

ADJUSTMENT
Extension cable out of tolerance range.
Check that extension diameter and
length are within the recommended
range of values.

MAX
INSIDE
TEMPERATURE
Polyvalent welder inside temperature
over 80°C.
Wait for the welding unit to cool down.

POWER FAILURE
A power failure has occurred during
welding.
After restoring normal power input
parameters, wait for the fitting to cool
down completely before repeating the
welding procedure from the start.

MANUAL STOP
ESC has been pressed during the
welding cycle.

INPUT VOLTAGE
OFF LIMITS
Input voltage is higher or lower than the
rated operating voltage by 20%.
Make sure that the power source or the
generator are operating efficiently.

Internal battery could be flat.
Re-enter date/time and if problem
persists contact customer care
