Open the Smart Communication App (SCA) from NUMERIK JENA GmbH to set up the
network settings. If you are using an alternative software for setup, please refer to Table
8 below for the relevant setting notes.

The SCA has an integrated assistant („ADD SCM“) for setting up the SCM-1000 network
settings. Open the assistant and follow the instructions.
