Always wear safety goggles or
glasses with side shields when
operating power tools. Failure to
do so could result in serious
injury.

Do not attempt to modify this product
or create accessories not recommend-
ed for use with this product. Any such
alteration or modification is misuse
and could result in a hazardous
condition leading to possible serious
personal injury.

Do not attach air chuck or other
tool to the open end of the hose
until start-up has been completed.

Do not allow familiarity with
products to make you careless.
Remember that a careless fraction
of a second is sufficient to inflict
serious injury.

Risk of bursting. Too much air
pressure causes a hazardous risk
of bursting. Check the manufac-
tures maximum pressure rating for
air tools and accessories. The
regulator outlet pressure must
never exceed the maximum
pressure rating.

Risk of bursting. If any unusual noise
or vibration is noticed, stop the air
compressor immediately and have it
checked by a trained service
technician.

Do not tamper with the safety valve(D).
Items loosened from this device
could fly up and hit you. Failure to
heed this warning could result in
death or serious injury. The safety
valve automatically releases air when
the receiver pressure exceeds the
preset maximum. Check the valve
before each day of use by puling the
ring by hand.

If air leaks after releasing the safety
valve ring or if the valve is stuck, do
not use the air compressor until the
safety valve has been replaced. Using
the air compressor in this condition
could result in serious personal
injury.

Risk of unsafe operation.
Compressed air from the unit may
contain water condensation and oil
mist. Do not spray unfiltered air at
an item that could be damaged by
moisture. Some air tools and
accessories may require filtered
air. Read the instructions for the
air tools and accessories.

Risk of unsafe operation. Firmly
grasp the air hose in hand when
installing or disconnecting to
prevent hose whip.

If any parts are damaged or missing,
do not operate until the parts are
replaced. Failure to follow this warning
could result in serious personal injury.

Do not use in an environment that is
dusty or otherwise contaminated.
Using the air compressor in this type
of environment may cause damage to
the unit.

PLACEMENT OF AIR COMPRESSOR

ATTACHING THE HOSE

PREPARING FOR START UP

Place the air compressor in a clean,
dry, and well-ventilated area.

The compressor is assembled at the
factory and ready for use. Check all
components to ensure secure
assembly. (such as: rubber feet,
quick connects, gauges, safety
valve, air filter, drain valve, etc.)

1.

The air compressor must be posi-
tioned at least 18 in. (0.5 m) away
from the wall or other obstructions
that will interfere with the flow of air.

2.

Locate the air compressor as close to
the main power supply as possible to
avoid using long lengths of electrical
wiring.

3.

The air filter must be kept clear of
obstructions which could reduce the
air flow to the air compressor.

4.

Make sure the power to the air
compressor is disconnected.

1.

Rotate the pressure regulator
knob fully counterclockwise.

2.

Insert the male hose adapter of
air hose into the female coupler
end in the air compressor.

3.

OPERATION

STARTING THE COMPRESSOR

CHECKING THE SAFETY VALVE

Place the ON/OFF Switch (A) to the
OFF position.

Close the drain valve (B).
Visually inspect the air lines and
fittings for leaks.

1.

2.
3.

Plug the power cord into a proper
receptacle.

B

Turn the ON/OFF Switch (A) to the ON
position, and allow the tank pressure to
build. The motor will stop when the tank
pressure reaches “cut-out” pressure.
Adjust the regulator knob (C) to a psi
setting that is needed for your applica-
tion- be sure it is within the safety
standards required to perform the task.
