3. THE RECEIVER
Place the sender near your baby
considering the
minimum distance
of 1 metre
. To achieve an optimum
sound transmission the implemented
microphone should be positioned
towards the baby and the
antenna
be pointed upwards.
Please plug in the device
and switch on the sender
. Now the
indicator light
goes on and thus
signalises the sender’s functioning. Please
switch to one of the two channels .
Note
:
Both
sender
and
receiver have to
be switched to the
same channel
.
The sender switches automatically to
an energy-saving stand-by modus and
only transmits noises at a certain noise
level which means that very soft
noises like the baby talking to itself will
not be transmitted to the receiver.

Please place the receiver close by yourself.
A clip is mounted to the reverse
side of the receiver. The receiver can be
set up as follows:
•
receiver stands alone on flat surfaces
•
clip receiver to your trouser belt
•
hang receiver on the wall.
To achieve an optimum transmission please
ensure that the antenna is always
pointed upwards. You have two possibilities to
supply the receiver with power:
1. Batteries
Device may be operated by
use of a 9 Volt block battery. To do this,
please side open the batteries’
compartment lid and place battery
inside. Please make sure that poles are not
switched. Close battery compartment.
2. Mains Voltage
You also have the
option to plug into the mains,
using a 9 Volt DC (200 mA) mains
appliance. First, please connect
the cable with the receivers’ power
point
, then plug into mains.
Receiver is activated by turning the
volume control switch
. Switch receiver
to the same channel chosen
for the sender and adjust volume to
the desired pitch.
If you choose to work the receiver
by mains, battery operation
will turn off automatically. Accordingly,
there is no need to remove the
battery when supplying the receiver
with power by mains voltage.
