The Wrinkle Reducer is a hand-held phototherapy device that emits Amber, Red and
Infrared (IR) light energy via a light attachment head. The Amber, Red, and IR light energy is used in
the treatment of full-face fine lines and wrinkles, and increase in local circulation within the perioral
region (the area around the mouth).
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• Use the Wrinkle Reducer attachment as described within this User Manual.
• The NuFACE device User Manual may also be referenced.
• The risks and dangers of using the attachment in any way that does not follow this User Manual
are unknown.
• The Wrinkle Reducer was not tested for use over the eye socket or eyelid so the risks
are unknown.
• Your Wrinkle Reducer attachment has a unique serial number located on the underside of the
attachment.

CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR USE

DO NOT
use if you are pregnant, subject to epilepsy, or have photosensitive epilepsy.
• DO NOT use on the neck if diagnosed with or suspect a thyroid problem.
•
DO NOT
use if your skin is sensitive to light. People can be sensitive to light and not be aware
of it. Certain drugs or cosmetics can cause skin sensitivity.
•
DO NOT
use over swollen, infected, or inflamed areas or skin eruptions.
• DO NOT treat the skin more than once in a 24 hour period. Overuse may result in dryness
of the skin.
• DO NOT use over topical or systemic steroids.
•
DO NOT
use on infants or children under the age of 14.

WARNINGS
• If you are under the care of a physician, consult your physician before using this device.
• This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
• Apply stimulation only to normal, intact, clean healthy skin. DO NOT use over swollen, infected,
or inflamed areas or skin eruptions (e.g., phlebitis, thrombophlebitis, broken capillaries, varicose
veins, etc.
Consult your healthcare provider:
• If you have any pre-existing or potential health conditions that may be impacted by use of
the device.
• If you have undiagnosed or known pain syndromes or painful areas.
• If you have any underlying skin conditions.
• If you have undiagnosed or known pain syndromes.

DO NOT
operate Wrinkle Reducer in the presence of electronic monitoring equipment
(e.g., heart monitors, heart tracing or in close proximity (e.g. 1 m) to shortwave, microwave or
electromagnetic therapy equipment as it may cause the medical equipment to malfunction.
Such equipment may produce instability in the Wrinkle Reducer.
• If you suspect the device is overheating, turn the device OFF immediately.
• DO NOT use flammable aerosol products or oxygen near the device.
• DO NOT look directly into the Wrinkle Reducer LEDs or shine in the eyes as this
may cause harm.
• Overuse of this device may result in dryness of the skin.
• Certain drugs or cosmetics can cause skin sensitivity.
• If device is not functioning properly due to damage caused by dropping or submerging in water.
• If you suspect the device to be malfunctioning, or not operating properly please contact NuFACE.
• Never drop or insert any object into any openings on the device.
• Device should not be used at extreme temperatures.
• Keep all electrical appliances (including the Wrinkle Reducer) away from water (including
baths, showers, and sinks).
• DO NOT use while driving, operating machinery, or during any activity which may put the user
or the public at unnecessary risk of injury.
• Use of controls or adjustments, or the performance of procedures other than those specified
herein, may result in injury.
• DO NOT disassemble the attachment as this may cause damage, malfunction, electrical shock,
fire or injury. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
• DO NOT use over swollen, infected, or inflamed areas or skin eruptions. Do not treat the skin
more than once in a 24 hour period -overuse may result in dryness of the skin. If you have
any skin condition concerns, please consult your healthcare provider before use.
Discontinue use of the device and contact your healthcare provider if you experience any
of the following:
• Persistent pain or discomfort.
• Negative or harmful reaction(s) or injury.
• Symptoms of hypertension (dizziness or light-headedness).
• Skin irritation or burning.
• Unpleasant sensations on skin during use.
Note: Disassembly of the NuFACE devices and/or attachments will void the warranty.
PRECAUTIONS
• The Wrinkle Reducer is designed for cosmetic use only and for individuals in good health.
If this is not the case for you, please consult your healthcare provider before use.
• If using the Wrinkle Reducer causes persistent pain or discomfort, discontinue use
immediately.
• The Wrinkle Reducer is intended to be stored and used at room temperature.
Do not store Wrinkle Reducer in the sun or on a hot surface. High temperatures may
be damaging. The device should be operated, transported and stored in the manner specified
in this manual. Failure to use and maintain the device in accordance with the instructions outlined
in this manual will void the warranty.
