Port Information

Connectors

This appendix contains information about the RS-232 Service Port on the 

FC-SATA RAID Controller and the 48V DC Power Supply.

RS-232 Service Port

Also located on the RAID Controller is a single port DB9-type connector which 

provides the serial RS-232 Service port interface to the controllers firmware 

program. The VT-100 interface to the firmware program provides access to the 

configuration utility, firmware updates utility, maintenance and monitoring 

programs. Below are the pin signals for this connector. The null-modem cable is 

provided for connectivity.
