Common Troubleshooting
5.2.1
Web Login Failure
Symptom
Failure to access the web-based manager after ADS is installed.
Troubleshooting
Check whether the network connection between the client and the management interface of
ADS is blocked by a firewall. If so, make sure that port 443 of the ADS device is accessible.
5.2.2
ADS Access Failure
Symptom
ADS is not accessible though its threshold is not reached yet.
Troubleshooting
Check whether the device that is directly connected to ADS has a hub or not. A hub
could degrade performance and should be replaced by a switch.
Check whether the parameters about attack protection rules are too strictly configured.
Check whether IP protection rules restrict access from this IP address.
5.2.3
License Import Failure
Symptom
Failure to import a license.
Troubleshooting
If the license complies with the device model, check the following:
The production date of the new license must be later than the original one.
The expiry date of the new license must be later than the original one.
You can import licenses successfully only when both the preceding conditions are satisfied.
