IMPORTANT
This PFD is a buoyancy aid for use in water where help is near in the event of an
emergency where larger devices may affect the user’s activity.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
HOW TO WEAR:
1. Before every use, check the CO2 indicator by looking at the gray
arming cartridge inside the pouch. A green arming pin should be
visible—this means it’s armed and ready to be deployed.
2. Wear pouch around the waist and on top of clothing making
sure the red pull-handle is outside of pouch, away from clothing,
and easy to grab.
3. Double check pouch’s hook-and-loop closure is closed and
facing down.
*There is a danger of bodily injury if this device is not donned
correctly. Do not wear this device under clothing.
HOW TO INFLATE:
1. Make sure pouch is at the front of waist before inflating.
2. Firmly jerk red pull handle down. This will cause the bladder to
inflate and pop out of the pouch.
3. Once inflated, place the inflated PFD webbing strap over your
head, tie the neck opening closed and cinch the strap connected
to the waist belt to prevent the PFD riding up.
4. For maximum buoyancy, loosen waist belt and slide air chamber
up to the chest. Re-inflate using oral tube until the bladder is
completely filled.
5. This PFD can be inflated before or after entering the water and
can be topped off by using the oral tube.
HOW TO REPACK AFTER INFLATION:
1. Fully deflate the PFD before re-arming and repacking.
2. Re-arm this inflatable PFD with a 24 gram CO2 cylinder. CO2 cylinders can only be
used one time and must be replaced after every use.
3. Once re-arming, replace the green indicator pin.
4. Follow the re-packing instructions printed on the back of the bladder.
5. Once the PFD has been folded and repacked, ensure the CO2 cylinder is at the
front of pouch.
6. Ensure pull handle is outside of the pouch and securely close hook-and-loop
fastener on the pouch.
