6.1 Overview 

Setting configuration is an important function of device. The device normal operation depends in 
the correct setting configuration. Thus, only a qualified technician should be responsible for the 
configuration. Furthermore, if the device is operating abnormally, please check the setting 
configuration firstly. 

NOTICE! 

According to different applications for different engineering requirements, settings may 
be different. This chapter describes as many settings as possible to make a reference 
for user. 

6.2 For PCS-9785 Clock Source 

6.2.1 Device Settings

Opt_DualDev 

This is the device clock service mode option for the dual device redundancy strategy. It should 
be "Slave" if the MON module NR1145A is selected. Otherwise, it should be "Master". 

 

Opt_Src_InitClk 

This is the device initialization mode option. 

External 

The device is initialized by external timing source. There will be no 
output before the completion of initialization. 

Internal 

The device is initialized by its internal clock. 

 

Opt_Parity_Send_IRIG-B 

The parity check mode option for IRIG-B output signal. 

 

t_PW_Send_Pulse 

The pulse width setting for output signal PPS/PPM/PPH. 

 

En_Meas_f_Grid 

Logic enabling setting for time frequency measurement. 

If this setting is enabled, the device LCD displays the measured grid frequency (under 220Vac)
