4. INSTALLATION
Prior to installation please familiarize yourself with the product, its parameters and installation
process.
To successfully install the camera please follow the steps presented below:
•
Remove dome from the camera unscrewing three Allen screws located 120 degrees apart from
each other, using included Allen key.
•
Put base of the camera to the desired mounting surface, and mark drilling holes using base as a
template.
•
Drill mounting and cable holes in previously selected points.
•
Paste the attached gasket to the base of the camera.
•
Mount the camera using included screws with gaskets on smooth, even surface providing
declared degree of IP protection.
Warning: In order to provide the declared degree of IP protection, the camera should be mounted
only on smooth, even surfaces. When mounting to rough/uneven surfaces please seal the
mounting place additionally using appropriate sealing mass. When using a different
mounting kit (not included in the set) please pay special attention to sealing the mounting
holes with an appropriate sealing mass.
•
Adjust the position of the camera module. If required, loosen the screw blocking camera
module.
•
Unscrew the blocking screws and adjust focal length and focus. In NVC-GDN4801V/IR-2 and
NVC-GDN4801V/IRH-2 cameras take off lens cover containing IR LEDs first, by pressing two
latches, as depicted below:
•
If needed, adjust the desired settings in the camera menu, using function buttons.
•
Put on the camera bubble again, matching screws to the corresponding holes located in the base
of the camera and screwing until slight resistance is felt. Please ensure that the mask doesn’t
block camera’s field of view.
