PPS

The PPS signal is available on a rear panel sma connector. There are

numerous attributes that can be controlled via the serial port or were selected
at the time the instrument was ordered.

•

The PPS can be radio sourced or a synthesized PPS. User

programmable.

•

The PPS maybe 5 or 3.3 Volt CMOS- Amplitude > 2.4 Volts into a 50

Ohm load. Default is 3.3 V CMOS. Selected at the time of ordering-
factory configurable only.

•

PPS pulse width is programmable- Radio PPS- 1 ms steps to 500 ms,

Synthesized programmable to 500ms in 20 ns steps. User
programmable- default is 200ms.

•

Cable delays- compensates for the length of the cable in 1 ns steps.

User programmable. Default is 0.
