INTERNET INTERFACE

Ethernet: 

Allows you to enable or disable the Ethernet interface.

Obtaining Address: 

Allows you to define how 

DigiRail Connect 

will obtain an IP: 

DHCP

 (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), which allows 

the IP (Internet Protocol) of the device to be assigned by the network server, or 

Static

, which allows the user sets the IP address, subnet mask, 

and default gateway for the connection.

IP Address: 

Allows you to enter the IP, which refers to the identification of the device in a local or public network, to be used by the device. 

This is a required field when the

Subnet Mask: 

Also known as subnet mask or netmask, allows you to divide a specific network into smaller subnets, making it more effective to

 Allows you to set the timeout (in milliseconds) of the gateway. This is a required field when the
