Common Problems and Solutions
The following are some common problems and solutions.
My MiFi M100 just powered off without my pressing the power button. Why?
This may occur under any of the following circumstances.
•
Pressing the Master Reset button
•
MiFi M100 automatically restarting after configuration changes
•
Switching profiles
•
Restoring the configuration settings
•
Battery depletion
To restore service, follow these steps:

Manually press and hold the power button to turn the MiFi M100 back on.
➋
If the battery is depleted, charge the MiFi M100 with the wall charger.
How do I access the MiFi M100 Web UI?

Make sure the MiFi M100 is turned on.
➋
Connect a computer to the MiFi M100 network.
➌
Open a browser on the computer and go to
http://my.mifi
or
http://192.168.1.1
.

Sign in using your Admin password.
How do I reset the MiFi M100 back to factory settings?
You can reset the MiFi M100 manually or with the Web UI.
To reset the MiFi M100 using the Web UI:

Select
Settings
in the menu panel on the left, and then select the
Device Settings
tab.

Select the
Backup and Restore
subtab.
➌
In the Backup and Restore page, click the
Restore Factory Defaults
button. This button resets
all Access Point and Router settings to their factory default values. All existing settings are
lost. (See
Backup and Restore
on page 34).
To reset the MiFi M100 manually:

Remove the battery cover of the MiFi M100 and locate the master reset button near the
angle corner. (It is marked RESET.)
➋
Place one end of an unfolded paper clip into the master reset button hole.
