SIM Card Access

The MT 4000 includes an on-board SIM carrier. There is no external access to the SIM.

SIM Installation procedures include:

l

Opening the Device

l

Inserting the SIM

l

Closing the Device

Opening The Device

To prevent damaging the device, use the Metal Lever (Novatel Wireless M2M part number
K1T2418) when opening the MT 4000.

To open the MT 4000, follow these steps:

1. Insert the curved foot of the Metal Lever into the gap between the lid and the body next

to the retainer snaps on both sides at the top (1, 2) and the bottom (3,4) of the device as
shown below.

2. Gently apply pressure upwards on the lever until the lid unsnaps.
