Control panel Notification Appliance Circuits with a CBE equation that includes F8 are
coded when activated by a fire alarm. These circuits are steady when activated
exclusively by an initiating device with a Hazard Alert Type Code. If using these NACs
for releasing or zone coding, do not include F8 in the CBE equation. Select the code
type on a system basis, through special zone F8. Table 34 contains coding selections:
