2.7 Preparing for Operation

Install a fully charged nitrous bottle. The pressure gauge should read 900-1000 psi at operating temperature/pressure.

Slowly open the nitrous bottle valve while listening and looking for any leaks at the bottle fittings as well as the fittings on the
solenoids in the engine compartment.

If no leaks are found, slightly loosen the -6 AN supply line fitting at the blue nitrous solenoid. Allow the air to leak from the fitting
until nitrous starts to fog out, then retighten the fitting.
NOTE: Nitrous is very cold and can cause burning and irritation to the
skin, we recommend wearing gloves during this procedure.
