Problem Cause Solutions
The console does not
light on
Make sure if the unit is plugged in
and the power switch is turn on.
Verify if the console electric
supply cable is connected and the
Safety Stop Key & Clip is attached
to console.
Plug the AC power cord of the treadmill
into the AC household wall outlet, and set
the power switch to "I" position.
If still not work, remove the power cable,
then to re-connect the console electric
supply cable following with assembly step
12, 13, and 14. Then re-plug the AC
power cord to the AC household wall
outlet, push the power switch to "I"
position.
Console display shuts
off during workout.
Check if the treadmill has
grounded.
Static electricity is "crashing" the console.
Refer to "Grounding Instructions".
Running belt jerky or
slips, or belt skews
off center.
The running belt may need to be
tensioned after a period of use.
Check and adjust the belt tension based on
the "General Maintenance, Belt
Adjustment".
Troubleshooting Heart Rate Issues
The following chart may help you understand and troubleshoot erratic heart rate readings.
Problem Cause Solutions
Display shows "---" Window displays "---" when powered
up or during pulse reset or not
perceivable.
(1) During workout, be sure you are
holding the touch-sensitive heart
rate grips. Your hands are clean
and moist, and no stains. Do not
hold the grips tight or slide your
hands.
(2) Verify if the heart rate receiver
wire is connected to console.
Display shows "? " Heart Rate is not detected when you
access the Heart Rate Control
Programs (H1/H2)
(1) Use both hands and make sure
your hands are clean and moist,
and no stains. Allow a few
seconds for the receiver to detect
a signal.
(2) Verify if the heart rate receiver
wire is connected to console.
