Replacing the Chassis Cover

After you install the SIMM, replace the chassis cover:

Lining up the back of the cover and the slots on the back of the chassis, fit
the cover back on the chassis as shown in

Figure 7-7

Turn the Passport 2430 upside down and replace the four screws.

Starting the Passport 2430

After you install the SIMM and replace the chassis cover, start the Passport 2430:

Plug the power supply cord into the wall outlet.

Press the power switch to the on (1) position.

The Passport 2430 automatically finds and configures for the SIMM when it
boots.
