PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Cable Modem 100 provides full Data Link and Network Layer
bridging functionality and supports up to 16 users for scalable network
access. It complies with Data Over Cable Service Interface Specifications
(DOCSIS) standards, which define standards for networking equipment
that will be attached to the cable plant. The Cable Modem 100 delivers the
data forwarding and filtering capabilities required by the most demanding
applications.
SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
DOCSIS LCn Provisioning Server by Nortel Networks, Broadband
Technology Division, or an equivalent DOCSIS-compliant provisioning
system.
HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
Ethernet cable (maximum length of 10 feet with RJ 45 connector).
