When you first start the switch, all of the port Link/Act LEDs flash once and the
Status LED flashes to indicate that the switch is booting and performing its Power
On Self Test (POST) routine.
Power and Status LEDs
You use the 1800-24T with AC power supply 100- 240 VAC, 50 - 60 Hz. To power
up the unit, press the power switch to the On (1) position. The power switch is
located on the back of the unit.
Figure 9 shows the intake vent, AC receptacle, and
power switch on the back panel of the 1800-24T.

You can use the 1800-24T-LX-DC or 1800-24T-DC with DC power supply -48V
DC. To power up the unit, press the power switch to the On (1) position. The
power switch is located on the back of the unit.
Figure 10 on page 35 shows the
intake vent, DC receptacle, and power switch on the back panel of the 1800-24T.
