Unpacking and setting up the Metro ESU 1800

This chapter provides unpacking and setup information for the Metro Ethernet 
Services Unit 1800 (Metro ESU 1800). Specifically, it includes the following

Unpacking the Metro ESU 1800

Open the shipping carton and carefully unpack its contents. The carton should 
contain the following items:

•

One Nortel* Metro Ethernet Services Unit 1800

•

A mounting kit with two mounting brackets and screws

•

Four rubber feet with adhesive backing

•

One AC power cord for the Metro ESU 1800-24T; a DC power cord is not
