11. OPERATING TESTS
Open and close the door manually.
To correctly pass the test, the following requirements must be met:

The door is easy to operate.

- If the door is not easy to operate, check the following :

Are the tracks correctly aligned ?
!
Are the cables correctly seated on the drums?
!
Are the upper tracks truly squared?
!
Is the door curtain perfectly levelled?
!
Is there too snug a fit between the rollers and the rubber side seals?

-If the door does not remain at its self-locking position, check the
following:
!
If the door continues to open, you need to reduce the spring tension.
!
If the door continues to close, you need to increase the spring tension.
Warning!
If the springs have been over tightened to counteract the reduction
in tension that occurs during the first 8 - 12 weeks, then the
door will not be able to remain in the self-locking position.
