Install 2nd threaded insert
Place a Restraint Bracket in its final position and
loosely
install a 1/4-20 screw into the insert to hold the Bracket in
place temporarily.
Use the supplied 3/8" drill bit to drill a hole for the 2nd
Insert.
Using the Bracket as a guide, carefully drill through the
hole on the same face as the first screw, as shown in
the illustration. Drill approximately 1" deep.
Remove the Restraint Ring, Pin, & Bracket.
Using a 6mm Hex Driver, install a threaded insert into the
drilled hole. Tighten until the flange is flush with the bed
surface.
Do not overtighten.
Tip: If the hole has become out of round or a loose fit with
the insert, wrap the insert with tape to provide a snug fit.
Repeat for other Bracket locations.
Install a Restraint Ring and Restraint Ring Pin into the
Bracket.
There may be a small amount of movement in the
Bracket, so
push it toward the outside
of the bed for
best results.
