5. Operation
5.1- Transport position
Make sure the mowing head is locked in its bracket.
As indicated on figure 1, transport height is :
A : 2,65 m
+ the X height (distance between ground and frame of the
machine).
The distance varies according to tractor and tyres type
.
5.2- Working position
The correct working position is achieved when the mowing head
is advanced to its maximum, ie perpendicular to the tractor.
All configurations in which the arm is behind the position
perpendicular to the tractor, causing the mowing head to work
off-line, are detrimental to the service life of the machine (See
figure enclosed).
The position of the frame must be at 90 degrees to
the ground, in order for the tool guarding to work
satisfactorily(See figure enclosed).
