5. Assembly
Surround assembling instruction (FIG 5-17)
FIG 5
Prepare the place where the roomheater is going to be
installed. Makes sure the surface is free of any dust and
concrete residue. Check by the level whether the body
and the base frame of the roomheater are in correct
position. If needed corect level using base feet.
Attention! If you plan utilize rear air connection cut out
the hole in the rear wall of the base.

Assemble a rear wall with provided fasteners. Do not
tighten screws completly.

The rear wall is equiped in regulating screws.
The screws enable to correct position in realtion to
the stove body - see FIG 8B, use the level to aid setting
correct positon. In order to start and to end correction
unfasten / fasten each nut as shown on the drawing
FIG 8A,C.

Set the roomheater in intended place - pay attention to
safety arrangements - see in FIG 2.
Attention! If the product is placed in a corner and is
to be connected to a fresh air supply, make sure to
prepare for fresh air supply behind the product be
-
fore placing the insert.

Prepare a front plate before assembling, set magnets
in initial position as shown on the drawing - FIG 10 A.
Make sure that regulation screw in the corner of base
bottom plate is in position as shown on FIG 10C. Prior
assembling check also postion of the plate - as marked
by an arrow. Assemble the plate.

Use the screw in the bottom, as shown in the FIG 11A,
to set final position of the front plate. If the plate is still
wobling take it out and correct position of a given
magnet or magnets. Set the gap between the plate and
lower edge of the body and its door as shown on FIG
11B.

Assemble a rear vertical grate on a top colorado plate.
Use provided fasteners.
Attention! A spring must be
placed in between washers - see FIG 13. Do not tighten
screw completly leaving posibility to adjust the grate
position.

Assemble a top radiation shield with provided fasteners
as shown on FIG 14.
FIG 15
Assembling the top plate on the appliance body. Adjust
all magnets - see FIG 15A to proper vertical position
so that requrements on FIG 15B and FIG 15C are met.
Use a level to aid setting the top plate final position.
Attention! Position of rear top grate can be adjusted by
hand.

Assemble a top grate.
Attention! To utilize the to conncetion, remove the lid
from the top grate - see FIG 16.
Attention! To utilize the rear connection, make sure to
remove the cut out in the back plate - see FIG 17-17a.
Fresh air supply set (accessory)
Please note! If the fireplace is connected to a fresh air
supply set then the surround elements should be pre-
pared for this before assembly of the surround begins.
Fresh air supply can be connected through the base
plate or through one of the laterals of the base.

Operating control
When the insert is in an upright position, and prior to
assembling the surround , control that all functions
are easy to manoeuvre and appear satisfactory.

Removing the self-closing mechanism FIG 18
A. Open the door and tighten the set screw using a
2,5 mm Allen Key.
B. Carefully push the door upwards
Loosen the set screw with the Allen key.
C. The door can now be lowered back into place
Attention! In some countries removing the self
closing mechanism is
not allowed. Make sure you
follow the local rules and regulations regarding self
closing doors.
6. Lighting the fire for the first time
When the fireplace is assembled and all instructions
have been observed, a fire can be lit.
Take care when inserting logs into the burn chamber,
in order not to damage the Thermotte plates. Please
note that there might be some humidity in the insulation
