WHO
Diastolic Blood Pressure (mmHg)
Systolic Blood Pressure (mmHg)

pressure
(target value)
Normal blood pressure
Normal systolic value
Mild hypertension
Moderate hypertension
Note:
When a person’s systolic and diastolic pressures fall into different
categories, the higher category should apply.
Use the Memory Function
After every measurement the appliance memorizes the measured blood
pressure and pulse rate with date and time. It can store up to
BP-510:
60 sets of measurements (30 for each of the 2 memory areas).
BP-520:
180 sets of measurements (90 for each of the 2 memory areas).
When all sets of an area are full, the oldest memory will be deleted. The
unit also calculates the average of
BP-510:
last 3 measurements.
BP-520:
last 3 measurements, all measurements of selected area, morning
(AM) measurements of selected area, afternoon (PM) measurements of
selected area.
Please select desired memory area before reading the memory.
To read the memory values
With the appliance turned off, press the “M” button repeatedly to show:
BP-510

of the selected memory area.
- 01-30 : single measurement from the most
recent (01) to the oldest (30).
BP-520
- L3: the average value of the last 3 measurements of
the selected memory area.
- ALL: the average value of all measurements of the
selected memory area.
- AM: the average value of the morning measurements
(0:00-12:00) of the selected memory area.
- PM: the average value of the afternoon measurement
(12:00-24:00) of the selected memory area.
