AIR LOCK 
 

In a new installation, or when the Hot Tub is drained and refilled, a small amount of air 
might be trapped in the plumbing and pump.  To purge the air from the lines, turn the 
water pump off and loosen both pump fittings to allow the air to escape.  Retighten the 
fittings before attempting to operate the pump.
