Trigger Length

Note: In the case of speed measurement, the
minimum length of the trigger is defined by the
time of speed calculation.
In the same mode setting Trigger Length = 255
keeps the trigger active until vehicle has
passed the measurement point.

Speed Pulse Rate

Speed pulse rate is in use after detection of a
vehicle in speed measurement application (or
mode). Speeder X1 is class 1 laser product.
Eye-safety standard limits the pulse rate of
Speeder X1 to 2000 Hz for pulse trains in short
range (Condition 2, target distance less than 2
meters). Laser pulsing exceeding 2000 Hz is
allowed only while measured distance is more
than 2 meters. Pulse train limitations are
controlled programmatically to fulfil the
Standard EN 60825-1:2007 (IEC 60825-
1:2007) Condition 2.

Speed Calculation Start

The starting point of speed calculation: This
parameter defines how long a distance from
the triggering point is rejected in speed
calculation.

Speed Geometry

Dimensional offset of the sensor from the line
of movement of the measured object

surface, 55 dm

dm

36

Speed Limit Large

A speed limit for vehicles higher than defined
by parameter 39.
Notice that it can only be used with top of the
road installations and mode 7 (Speed mode
For Vertical Installation)
