MANUAL SCORING
The results from the automatic analysis of the recording may be changed manually by the
user. The user may also choose to analyze the recording entirely manually.
A 'Marking toolbox' is available in APIOS ('View' menu). It is recommended to use it when
scoring manually.
Marking tool :
To place/move the beginning and
end points of the analysis period: Right-click in the Navigator at the point where you
wish to place the starting point of the analysis; then
select 'Set beginning of analysis period here' from
the contextual menu. Proceed the same way to
place the end point. Any marking or event outside
the analysis period will not be taken into account
when generating the report.
To delete a marking:
Select the marking to be deleted and press the
'Delete' key on the keyboard.
You may also right-click on the marking to be deleted
and then select 'Delete' from the contextual menu
To add a marking:
Open the 'Marking toolbox' window ('View' menu)
and click on the marking to be applied. If the marking
to be applied does not appear in the 'Marking
toolbox', click on the signal to be marked in order to
adapt the list of possible markings to the signal in
question.
Once you have selected the marking to be applied,
click on the signal and drag the cursor over the area
to be marked ("drag-and-drop"). You may repeat this
operation in order to mark several events of the
same type in a row; there is no need to return to the
'Marking toolbox' in this case.
Remark: it is also possible to add a marking without
using the 'Marking toolbox'. To do so, delimit the
area to be marked by clicking on the signal and
dragging the cursor. A list of available marking
appears automatically, select one. Or assign a
marking type to this area by pressing the
corresponding key on the keyboard (see below).
