Automatic keyguard

 — Set the keypad to lock automatically after a 

preset length of time.

•

DTMF tones

 — Dual-tone multifrequency (DTMF) is used by the 

telephone system to recognise the keys pressed when dialling (for 
example, telephone banking and help desk). Activate DTMF tones and 
set the tone duration.

•

Phone updates

 — Update the device with the latest software available 

(network service).

Warning:

 If you install a software update, you cannot use the 

device, even to make emergency calls, until the installation is 
completed and the device is restarted. Be sure to back up data 
before accepting installation of an update. 

If software updates over the air are supported by your network, you 
may also be able to request updates through the device.

Downloading software updates may involve the transmission of large 
amounts of data through your service provider's network. Contact your 
service provider for information about data transmission charges.

Make sure that the device battery has enough power, or connect the 
charger before starting the update.

Confirm UIM actions

 — Set the UIM service actions visible.

Flight query

 — Set the device to ask if you want to activate the flight 

profile, every time you switch the device on.
