Choose the “Data” option in the Address space field; enter the address; leave the Sub-
count (words) field entry at “1”; click the
Add
button. The address will be displayed in the
subwindow in the lower half of the dialog box.
Use this method to enter both the AFC Disable and AGC Disable addresses.
Note: AFC Disable and AGC Disable addresses may be obtained from R&D. These addresses may
change, depending upon software version.
Once both addresses are entered, check “Periodic Read on” and click the
Stop
button.
Click the
Read
button, which then displays the values in both addresses.
Note: Both addresses should be “1”.
Change both addresses to “0” by clicking on the “1”, which highlights the data in the
address. Next, you can edit the contents and make the change from “1” to “0”. Click the
Return key
on your keyboard to enter the new values. Once the contents of both
addresses are changed to “0”, click the
Write
button on the “DSP Memory Test” dialog
box. This will write the new values into the phone. This data will remain in the phone
until the phone is powered down.
Turning on Receiver Only
To turn on the receiver only, use the “Main Mode” dialog box as described in the
Turning
on Cell CDMA Transmitter
section. Highlight “RX” in the Band field and then choose
“Cell CDMA”.
