All data

, problems may occur because the settings

from the Nokia 9000 or 9000i communicators are not compatible with
the Nokia 9110i Communicator. When restoring, it is recommended
that you select documents, contacts and calendar data separately from
the backup file.

To transfer data between different language versions

If the languages are not compatible, e.g. if you want to transfer data from
a Finnish version of the Nokia 9000i Communicator to a French version of
the Nokia 9110i Communicator, move your contacts and calendar data
with the Nokia Communicator Server program onto a PC using the Import/
Export contacts and Import/Export calendar data applications.

Move your documents with the Nokia Communicator Server program onto
a PC using the File transfer application.

Start the PC Suite for Nokia 9110 Communicator program on the PC and
use the Import/Export function to import the contacts, calendar data. Use
the File transfer application for transferring documents to the Nokia 9110i
Communicator. See ”File transfer” on page 34 and ”Import / Export” on
page 35 of this manual.
