Set up PTT groups
You can add individual subscribers to groups. When you call a group, all members
who are connected hear your calling tone. Each member can answer the call and
take turns transmitting to the group.
From the PTT contacts screen, select Options > New PTT group , enter the name of
the group, and select OK .
PTT settings
You can enable, disable, and customize your PTT settings. Select Menu > Settings
> Push to talk settings and one of the following options:
Push to talk service > Enable or Disable —Enable or disable the PTT service.
Default audio > Loudspeaker or Handset —Turn the loudspeaker on or off.
Confirm push to talk calls > Yes or No —Answer PTT calls manually or
automatically.

Make a PTT call
To make a call to an individual or a group:
1. From the standby mode, press the PTT key to open the PTT contacts list.
Your PTT contacts list shows the availability of each contact.
or —The contact, or at least one member of the group, is available.
or —The contact or group is not available.
or —The contact or group is busy; try again later.
or —The contact or group has requested a status of do not disturb;
try later.
or —The contact or group is unknown to the service. Check that the
contact or members of the group are subscribed to the service.
2. Select the person or group to call, and press the PTT key again.
3. When the screen displays Conversation open , press the PTT key, and wait for a
double tone. Speak into the phone, and release the PTT key to listen.
4. When the call is complete, select End call . Your phone returns to the standby
mode.
