Personalizing the phone

Own number sending

You can determine whether your phone number is hidden (

Off

) or 

displayed (

On

) to the person that you call (network service). 

Preset

 

resets the phone to the default setting (

On

 or 

Off

) that you have 

agreed upon with your service provider.

Phone line in use

You can select the desired phone line (1 or 2) for making calls or 
prevent the line selection (network service). 

You must subscribe to this service to be able to select line 2. When 
line 2 is selected, 

2

 is shown in the top left corner of the display.

Calls on both lines can be answered irrespective of the selected line.

To allow (option 

Allowed

) or prevent (

Not allowed

) the line 

selection you need the PIN2 code.

Tip:

 When the display is clear, you can switch from one line 

to the other by pressing and holding 

.

Automatic answer

This function can be used only when the phone is connected to the 
PPH-1 handsfree car kit or the HDC-5 headset.

When this function is on, your phone will automatically answer an 
incoming call after one ring. This function can be used when the car 
kit is equipped with ignition sense and the ignition is switched on.

This function does not work when the phone tones are set to 

Off

 in 

the menu ‘Incoming call alert’ (Menu 9-1).
