Maintenance and storage

TB 151/181/211

Shredders

- Remove filler plug (6).
- Place a container with a capacity of at

least 0.9 L (0.23 US gal) under plug.

- Remove drain plug (5).
- Allow oil to drain completely.
- Wait for dripping to stop.
- Clean and reinstall drain plug (5). Replace it if

necessary.

- Pour the correct oil quantity and quality through the

opening of the filler plug.

- Reinstall filler plug (6).
- Reinstall central gearbox.
- Reinstall attachment bolts (4). Tightening torque:

10 daN m (74 lbf ft).

- Reinstall adjustment screws (3).
- Reinstall pulley (8).

- Check that pulleys are in line and that upper and lower

shafts are parallel. Readjust if necessary. See
section:
• Belt tension
• Parallelism of the transmission shaft.

- Remove the 3 drive belts (7).
- Adjust belt tension.
- Reinstall side guards.

- Check central gearbox oil level:

• The oil must reach the lower edge of the filling hole

(6).
