2.6.1
Using the Optional Hand Pump

A man u ally op er ated hy drau lic pump is sup plied on the hy drau lic
man i fold. The pump per mits rais ing or low er ing the stair and sta bi liz ers
man u ally in the event of a fail ure of the en gine or hy drau lic sys tem.

The over ride knob on the ap pro pri ate hy drau lic so le noid valve must be
pushed in or pulled out and held out by in sert ing the lock tool be hind the
knob for manual operation. See fig ure 1. The tool is at tached to the valve
with a re tain ing chain. Af ter this is done, the man ual pump can be
op er ated.
VERY IMPORTANT:
This lock out tool must be removed when manual
operation is completed.

Move the wing panel back, close aircraft door and raise the flip step as
instructed in 2.5
