4-7 針 ガードの調 整 〈 F i g . 8,9 〉
針 ガードは（81225と80225の）2種 類 です。縫 い目 巾 を変
更したときは、必ず針ガード（80225）を調整し直してくださ
い。針ガードの調整をしないと、針折れ･目飛びの原因にな
ります。
a) 針 ガ ード（ 8122 5）は、針 板 （81 244 IW）の 下 側 にネジ
(90)で取り付けています。
針と針ガードの間隔は、もっとも近づいたとき 1 mm です。

ネジ（90）を緩めて針ガードをうごかし調整してください。
調整が終わったら、ネジ（98）をしっかりと締付けてくだ
さい。
b) 針 ガード（80225）は、送 り土 台 （80234B）のみぞの中
に、ネジ（93A）で取り付けています｡

針が上昇していくとき、針の動きに合わせて、針ガードが
か る く 接触す る よ う に 調整し ま す 。 送り 土台の 取り 付け
みぞにそって、針ガードの位置を動かし、調整してくださ
い｡ そのあとネジ（93A）をしっかりと締めてください｡

プ ー リ ー を 逆 に （ 反 時 計 方 向 に ） 廻 し て 、 針 の 先 端 が
針ガ 一ドに乗り 上げ る音がす る ときは 、針ガ ー ドが 針を
押しています。調整し直してください｡
4-7 Adjusting Needle Guard
Mount the needle guard (81225) in the groove on the
throat plate (81244IW), as shown in
(Figure 8) , and adjust
its position so that the clearance between the needle and
the guard is 1mm. Hold the guard in position by means of
the screw (90).
Mount another needle guard (80225) on the feed bar
(80234B), as shown in
(Figure 9) , and adjust its position in
the groove of the feed bar, so that it will just contact the
needle as the needle goes up. Hold the guard in position
securely by tightening the screw (93A). To confirm the
proper adjustment, turn the pulley counterclockwise to
check if the needle clicks on the guard. If it does, the
guard is pushing the needle and readjustment is necessary.

necessary when the stitch length is changed.
