Relocation Of Guide Rail

 

If it is necessary to relocate the guide rail and sensor assembly use the following procedure. 

1.  Remove complete assembly from the pipe. 

2.  Insert a small screwdriver in the hole at the end of the guide rail moulding and lever up the clip 

holding the electronics assembly by pressing down on the screwdriver as shown below.  

3.  Repeat 2 on the other end and then pull off the electronics unit.

4.  Disconnect the sensors. 

5.  Remove the original Gel pads from  the sensors. 

6.  Push the sensor blocks into the guide rail to enable the washers and locking screws to be 

refitted. 

7.  Replace the Gel pads. A spare set is supplied with the unit and further sets are available from 

Micronics Ltd. 

8.  Follow the original procedure for installing the guide rail on the pipe.
