The complete marking kit (Fig. 1) is composed of:
A) INOX MARK;
B) 100 ml of electrolyte for marking;
C) 100 ml of electrolyte for erosion;
D) 20 Pads;
E) 5 O-ring for pads;
F) Handgrip;
G) Graphite insert 35x10mm;
H) Cable for handgrip;
I) Ground cable;
J) Hexagon key 2,5mm;
K) Support for handgrip.
2.1.1. Accessories
Label P PC software:
La NITTY-GRITTY supply a printer which it is possible to create small screens for marking, by
means of a special tape. The label printer offers various printing options and the light/dark tones.
Screen have a maximum height of 46 mm (Dimensions of tapes: 18-24-46 mm) and a short
service life (2-4 markings). They are useful for series coding.
Software includes cable for connection. Thanks to this software, the Label Printer is compatible
with any kind of PC; it enables the creation of customized markings with more detail in terms of
characters and graphics.
Silk-screen:
La NITTY-GRITTY manufactures silk-screen (A) of various sizes (min. 25x15mm; max.
257x170mm) and, upon demand, in the long-life version (approx. 1000 markings). As an
alternative, screens created with the Label Printer can be used by means of a special tape (B), as
well as short-life screens (C) obtained with matrix printers
.
2.2. Characteristics
The machine is designed for industrial uses in normal environmental conditions, as established by
point 1.4 of the EN 60204-1.
These conditions refer to machine use.
The definition of limits for the presence of personnel is duty of the person in charge of designing the
workstation(s) and may call for more restrictive measures..
The machine must be run by personnel that have been trained concerning machine use and are
familiar with the continents of this manual.
The machine runs in manual mode only.
2.3. Operation
A) Fix the graphite insert on the handgrip with hexagon key.
