Intercom Calls

You can voice-announce your Intercom call or have the called extension
ring. When you voice-announce, the other party hears you over the phone
speaker and can speak Handsfree. Keep the following in mind when
using Intercom:

•

You may not be able to voice-announce to some extensions.

•

If your phone has Dual Line Appearance (ONYX IV only), you don’t
have to press INTERCOM to place Intercom calls. You hear Intercom
dial tone and your appearance key lights as soon as you lift the handset.
Refer to Dual Line Appearance on page 36 for the specifics.
