NOTE: If the collar location is followed by more than one user, you can share the same login user name and password
with your group. Then all are able to observe the same dog / collar location with own mobile phones.
After logging in to the APP, add a collar from “MANAGE DEVICES” by adding a collar using your own collar IMEI code.
The IMEI code is displayed on the product package label and on the GSM module inside the housing. You can also
request the IMEI code by using a text message. Master user 1 sends the following text message to the collar:
FACID,123456,QUERY,STATUS;
The collar responds after a successful IMEI code query as a text message to the Master user to 1 number with the
information:
FACID query OK! IMEI: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Add collar information to NITEforce Live Map APP. Master user 1 add collar name, phone number in the format
+358xxxxxxxx and sets standard password:
a123456
You can also change the color of the "dog icon" if you want.
After downloading and entering the required information into the NITEforce Live Map software APP, call your own collar
number on your mobile phone.
The collar alarms once, after that you hear busy tone - end the call. Now the "Dog Icon" will appear in the NITEforce
Live Map APP map view. Your own location dot will appear in Blue.
NOTE: You will also receive information about the location of the collar via SMS, if you make a call to collar.
NOTE: If you are inside indoors with your own phone, your own location may appear as a Red "network location". That
is not as accurate as the Blue GPS location (approx. 5m accuracy). Your mobile phone's online positioning is based on
cross-scanning your operator's masts, which can mis-represent your own location for up to several hundred meters. Go
outdoors to have your own phone GPS satellite and show your own location in more detail using GPS (Blue).
Now your GPS Dog collar and the Live Map APP are ready to use!
NOTICE
> If the collar is not moved for 2 minutes, it will switch to standby mode automatically. In this case, it does not send
location information automatically, which saves battery power. The device will turn on automatically if it moves. The
device can go into standby mode when driving on a flat surface road unless the dog moves in a car or if the collar drops
or the dog has to lie down due to an accident. If the collar is in standby mode and not moving, then you can call the
number of the collar in standby mode, it will alert you once and let it be busy note tone. After it will send the location
information to the user.
>
If the APP information or location does not appear updated when you press the "Dog icon", close the map tab on your
mobile phone's screen and log in to the APP again. The open tab is "outdated" which shows old outdated information.
That will update by logging in to the APP again
>
With APP, you can track more than one person on the same Live Map if they are logged in to APS with the same login
credentials
>
The standard update interval is every 15 seconds and is done via the GPRS data connection
