TIPS ON TAKING YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE
1 Do not use this product without consultation with your doctor if you are under dialysis
therapy or on anticoagulants, antiplatelets or steroids. Use of this instrument under such
conditions could cause internal bleeding.
2 Use of this product in areas near mobile phones, microwave ovens or other devices
with strong electromagnetic fi eld may cause malfunctions.
3 For correct measurement it is necessary to know that ARTERIAL BLOOD PRESSURE
SUBJECTED TO SHARP FLUCTUATIONS IN SHORT GAP OF TIME. The level of the arterial
blood pressure depends on many factors. Usually level of arterial blood pressure is
lower in summer and higher in winter. Arterial blood pressure changes together with
atmospheric pressure and depends on many factors, e.g. physical loads, emotional
excitability, stress, meals, dietary pattern, etc. Diff erent medicines, alcohol, smoking
render large infl uence to level of arterial blood pressure. When blood pressure is
measured in a hospital, it could be higher than when measured at home. This is because
you are tense at the hospital and relaxed at home. Because arterial blood pressure increases in low temperature, determine arterial blood pressure
in room temperature (approximately 20° C). If this device was stored in low temperature, it is necessary to bear it before using at least 1 hour in room
