6. Packaging and storage
6.1 PACKAGING REQUIREMENTS
The packaging must protect the paper during storage at the supplier and at the user site as well as
during transport.
Fanfold forms
Cartons must be of the telescoping type without metallic staples, and close-fitted to avoid any paper
movement inside the carton.
The stack must be about 20 mm higher than the upper edge of the carton so that the stack will be in
contact with the cover; extra cardboard sheets are allowed to satisfy this requirement.
The carton must be of sufficient quality to withstand a stack height of six cartons.
Cartons delivered on pallets must be completely protected from moisture by a plastic film as well as
by a moisture barrier between pallet and cartons.
NOTA : The maximum allowed paper stack height for the paper input tray inside the machine is
300mm; the capacity for using input stack heights up to 1m placed outside the machine is
available as an option.
Rolls
Rolls must be kept sealed from moisture until use by means of plastic film and a moisture barrier
between roll and pallet.
6.2 SHIPPING CONDITIONS
During a maximum of 7 days: temperature between -10ºC and 40ºC
relative humidity between 15% and 80%.
