Safety precautions
Caution!
NOTE! To minimise the risk of fire,
electric shock or injury, please read the
safety precautions and caution text
thoroughly before using the machine.
• This machine is designed exclusively
for indoor use.
• Do not leave the machine connected
to the mains supply. Always pull out
theplug before leaving the machine
unsupervised.
• This machine is not a toy. Do not let
children or unauthorised personnel
play with it. Never leave a machine
unsupervised if it is connected to the
mains.
• Follow the instructions carefully. Ser
vice and repair work may only by
carried out by an authorised service
agent. Only use original spare parts
or parts recommended by the
manufacturer. Do not attempt to
modify the machine yourself in any
way.
• Do not use the machine if the plug or
mains lead are damaged. If the
machine does not work correctly, if it
has been damaged, left outside or
become wet, return it to the service
agent for repair.
• Never drag or lift the machine by the
mains lead. Make sure the lead does
notget trapped in a doorway. The
lead must not be exposed to heat.
• Make sure the lead does not touch
any moving parts of the machine.
• Always unplug the machine by
pulling out the plug. Do not unplug it
by pulling on the lead.
• Switch off the machine before
unplugging it.
• Never use the machine in the
presence of flammable or volatile
solvents or gases.
• Switch off the machine and unplug it
before fitting or removing
accessories.
• The machine is equipped with a
”dead man’s handle” for the safety of
the operator. Do not attempt to
override this safety mechanism or
render it inoperable. Do not fit any
device to lock the switch in the on
position.
• The machine is earthed and should
therefore only be connected to an
earthed mains socket.
• Caution! Do not run over the lead.
