Effects can be applied to images during shooting.
Press the

button to display the special effects menu and select an effect
using the multi selector.
• The camera focuses on the area in the center of the frame. The position of
the area cannot be moved.
Special Effects Mode (Applying Effects When

Option Description
Soft
(default setting)* Softens the image by adding a slight blur to the entire
image.
Nostalgic sepia*
Adds a sepia tone and reduces the contrast to simulate the
qualities of an old photograph.
High-contrast
monochrome
Creates a black-and-white photograph with a clear contrast.
Painting* Gives the image a painting-like appearance.
High key Gives the entire image a bright tone.
Low key Gives the entire image a dark tone.
