Aberration-compensation data writing adjustment
When the main PCB unit, etc, has been replaced, it is necessary to make adjustments by the "
software (LWM)
"
for aberration compensation (
★
J18491).
This adjustment is made by the software which calculates the aberration compensation data according to the
aberration feature of lens and writes it in the FLASH-ROM of the lens, in order to improve the accuracy of
autofocus.
Caution: This adjustment is required when the main PCB and/or each lens part (glass, lens housing)
has been replaced or when each lens part has been disassembled. Be sure to make this
adjustment after completing inspecting and adjusting the main PCB.
The focal length and the distance from the test chart to CCD-face vary depending on products.
As for this lens, the adjustment is made at the below focal length and distance position.
